Halotherapy (Salt Room)

Respiratory & skin support

A review of halotherapy for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) found that inhaling dry salt aerosol in a controlled environment improved lung function, oxygen saturation, and mucociliary clearance across multiple studies.

Key finding: All reviewed studies reported improved respiratory function — including FEV1, oxygen saturation, and partial pressure of oxygen — with reductions in airway inflammation and medication use.

Infrared Sauna

Cardiovascular & metabolic health

A systematic review of 40 studies on regular dry sauna bathing found meaningful improvements in blood pressure, vascular endothelial function, and cardiovascular outcomes — including a 40% reduction in all-cause mortality among frequent sauna users.

Key finding: Frequent sauna bathing (4–7 sessions/week) was associated with a 63% lower risk of sudden cardiac death and a 40% reduction in all-cause mortality versus once-weekly use.

Red & Blue Light Therapy

Pain relief & skin rejuvenation

A systematic review and meta-analysis of low-level laser (light) therapy found it significantly reduced pain and disability in lower-extremity tendinopathy and plantar fasciitis, both immediately after treatment and at 4–12 week follow-up.

Key finding: LLLT significantly reduced pain (13.15 mm VAS) immediately and 12.56 mm VAS at follow-up, with no adverse events reported across trials.

Cryotherapy

Inflammation & recovery

A meta-analysis of 11 randomized controlled trials concluded that whole-body cryotherapy effectively reduces inflammation in humans by lowering pro-inflammatory IL-1β and raising anti-inflammatory IL-10 — benefiting athletes and individuals with inflammatory conditions.

Key finding: WBC significantly reduced pro-inflammatory IL-1β and increased anti-inflammatory IL-10, offering a clinically meaningful way to suppress the inflammatory response.

PEMF-Circulation Mat

Neuropathy & circulation

A PRISMA 2020 systematic review and meta-analysis of 13 randomized controlled trials (688 participants) found PEMF therapy is an effective non-invasive adjuvant for neuropathic pain, with the strongest and most clinically meaningful benefit for spinal and radicular (nerve-root) pathology.

Key finding: PEMF produced a large, significant analgesic effect for spinal/radicular pain (SMD −2.35) with an excellent safety profile — only 0.6% device-related events, identical to sham — supporting its use for nerve-related pain and circulation concerns such as neuropathy.

Vibration Plate

Lower-limb strength & mobility

A PRISMA systematic review and meta-analysis of 34 randomized controlled trials in older adults found whole-body vibration significantly improved lower-limb muscle strength — including knee extensors and flexors, lower-limb extensors, and ankle plantar flexors — compared with control groups.

Key finding: WBV produced significant gains in lower-limb muscle strength versus control, with no significant advantage over other forms of exercise. No significant effects were observed for upper-limb strength, lower-limb power, or muscle endurance.

Acupressure Bed (Ceragem)

Spinal thermal massage & pain relief

A clinical study on a spinal thermal massage device found it reduced pain more effectively than control, improved self-reported disability, and increased antioxidant enzyme levels in participants.

Key finding: Spinal column thermal massage significantly reduced pain, improved disability scores, and raised antioxidant enzyme activity — supporting its use for back and musculoskeletal discomfort.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Edema & swelling reduction

A systematic review of manual lymphatic drainage techniques found the best evidence supports its efficacy in reducing edema after acute injuries such as ankle sprains and wrist fractures, and in lowering markers of muscle damage.

Key finding: MLD is as effective as other modalities for reducing edema, and may be used alone or combined with other treatments for musculoskeletal injuries.

Gua Sha-Fascia Body Release

Musculoskeletal pain relief

A systematic review of Gua Sha for musculoskeletal pain concluded the therapy significantly decreased pain intensity in patients with chronic back pain across the included studies.

Key finding: Gua sha therapy significantly reduced pain intensity in chronic back pain, and was shown to be at least as effective as hot pack therapy while also improving back flexibility and function.

IV Hydration

Targeted micronutrient replenishment

A clinical review published in Cureus examines the science of intravenous micronutrient therapy, detailing how direct venous delivery achieves 100% bioavailability, bypasses hepatic first-pass metabolism and gastrointestinal absorption barriers, and rapidly corrects cellular deficiencies in water-soluble vitamins (B-complex, vitamin C) and minerals like magnesium.

Key finding: IV nutrient administration bypasses intestinal absorption saturation limits — allowing high therapeutic plasma levels of vitamin C and essential cofactors to support immune defense, cellular repair, and metabolic energy without gastrointestinal distress.

Functional Medicine

Whole-person, root-cause care

Functional medicine's systems-biology approach is supported by a growing body of research on lifestyle and root-cause interventions for chronic disease. Our consultations integrate this evidence with advanced lab testing and personalized guidance.

Key finding: Lifestyle and functional approaches that address diet, stress, sleep, and underlying imbalances are associated with improvements in cardiometabolic, inflammatory, and quality-of-life outcomes.
