What is Functional Medicine

FM is a science-based personalized healthcare approach that focuses on identifying and treating the root causes of chronic disease. Practitioners don't just manage symptoms they look upstream at how genetics, environment, and lifestyle factors interact to affect your overall systems.

Most providers have a medical background as a basis and then choose to advance and specialize their training by attending additional schooling to learn root cause clinical medicine.
